This section describes the TwinTrack settings that allow you to better customize the default behavior of the TwinTrack actions.

Select TwinTrack ➔ Settings to open the settings window shown in the following image.

Among other things, you can change the default names used to display the handheld device and the reference frames. You can also customize the approach speed approach distance.

Tip: Set the Approach distance to 0 mm to disable the approach movement. This is useful for painting or inspection applications.

Tip: For best accuracy, you can increase the Sample time to 500 ms or 1000 ms. Make sure to move slowly if you increase the sample time.

Tip: If your handheld probe does not have any buttons you can use a keyboard shortcut defined in the Key to record section.
